Privacy by design
Curio’s privacy posture
This note supplements the Translatent privacy policy with details specific to Curio’s listings and planning experience.
For parents and caregivers
Curio is designed for parents and caregivers, not for children to use independently. Version 1 has no accounts or sign-in and does not collect personal information from children.
Planning stays on this device
A parent may enter a child’s first name or nickname and age into the summer planner. Those values remain in the current browser session and are not sent to or stored by Curio. Do not enter a full legal name or other sensitive information.
No profiling or precise location
Curio does not build profiles of children, request precise geolocation, sell personal information, use cross-site behavioral advertising, or use dark patterns to steer families. Curio has no advertising in version 1.
Public listing information
Program and provider facts come from public catalogs and provider websites; they are not user or child profiles. Providers can request a correction or removal through the listing request path.
